Anywhere Anytime Learning!- Math 2

Tell why you think it is important to be able to divide numbers. For what kind of problems do you need to use division?

We not just need to use it in school, but in real life.
  • If children come to a party and you need to make goodie bags for them, then a good idea is to use division to figure out how much candy or toys to put in each bag.
  • If you wanted to buy a fraction of a pizza or a pie, you can use division to convert it into fractions and figure out how much you need to buy.
  • If you wanted to eat a fraction of something, you can figure out the exact fraction or decimal using division.
Tell what part of this unit was the most difficult for you and why. Describe what you did to overcome any difficulties you had.

There were a few parts that were difficult:
  • When I had to move over suddenly to more difficult numbers, I found it hard to concentrate on what I was doing during math.
  • When the divisors went up, it was okay, but when the dividends did, it took much longer to solve the problem and that's when I started to lose concentration.
I think these were difficult for me because when suddenly things turn upward in math, I lose concentration. I overcame these difficulties by trying to gain concentration again.

Writing Reflection

Writing Self Assessment

1. What do I notice about myself as a writer as I read through my work? I like to compliment myself for the good parts, but I always make sure to look out for the parts where the careless errors are. I read and read and read and get most of my ideas from books. So, obviously, some of these parts really do sound familiar. I like to write and when I read it, I feel that I am improving space by space, word by word!

2. How have I changed as a writer so far? I have started to enjoy writing as a hobby, so I feel that I am improving fast. I have made big changes in my life during writing. I used to dislike writing as I thought it was challenging and annoying. Now, it is my favorite subject in school!

3. What are three things I do well as a writer? 1). I can forever and ever on not run out of ideas or words.2). I can write most types of writing. 3). I LOVE writing, so I can write anywhere, anytime!

4. What are some things I want to get stronger at as a writer? Everything. I feel that if I improve in all the tricks I know, I can become a fantastic writer!

5. What is my favorite piece, and what are the things I love about it? My favorite piece is the one I used for my writing prompt, because I feel I have tried my best and the readers may feel that I am a great writer. They can feel the passion, depression, and happiness in my story. With word skills, (parallelism, simile, metaphor, detail, sentence fluency, word choice, and onomatopoeia) I can pull any good reader into a simple, ordinary piece of paper with........

Anywhere Anytime Learning!- Math Assignment

I like Factor Captor because it can help you memorize bigger multiplication problems. It also helps you memorize prime and composite numbers. Factor Captor also helps to familiarize you with using factors.

Making an array might help someone find factors of a number by letting them know ways of how it can be arranged. If you had the number 24, for instance, and you decided to see if you could divide it into four, then it worked, then you could make an array to find the second number, like this:

I liked when we took square numbers and converted them into exponents because it showed me more about exponents and square numbers a 2 in 1 math lesson!!!!!

Anywhere Anytime Learning! -Writing

I like all subjects in school, but writing is my favorite. I have a talent in writing and love to do it anywhere. I get an inspiration in writing sometimes from soft music in the background. I try to imagine the softness, or the smoothness, and even the activeness of the melody. I get other inspirations from other writers, professional, or schoolfriends. I like working with onomatopoeia , sentence fluency, word choice, similes, metaphors, parallelism, alliterations, details, and more! I can present my ideas in an organized way to make it easy to comprehend and make it evident that I have tried hard. I like to make a picture to go with the writing to express it in a graphical way. I love writing because it is my friend!
